⚙️ GM Turbo-Hydramatic 400 (TH400)
The Turbo-Hydramatic 400 is one of the most durable automatic transmissions ever built. Introduced in 1964 and produced until 1991, it was used in virtually every GM rear-wheel-drive vehicle from Corvette to heavy trucks. Racing versions handle over 1,000 hp and the TH400 remains the default choice for high-performance rebuilds. It was also licensed to Rolls-Royce for use in the Silver Shadow.
