Peugeot 306 GTi-6
The 306 GTi-6 used a 167-hp 2.0-litre twin-cam engine, close-ratio six-speed gearbox, and limited-slip differential to create one of the most driver-focused hot hatchbacks of the 1990s. Lighter and more nimble than the Golf GTI, its eager engine, communicative steering, and neutral chassis balance won admiration from driving purists.
