🔧 Audi / VW EA888 2.0 TFSI Turbocharged Engine
The EA888 2.0 TFSI is Volkswagen Group's modular four-cylinder turbo that underpins the Golf R, Golf GTI Mk6, Audi TT 8N, and dozens of other VW/Audi products. Its 2.0L direct-injection turbocharged architecture in the Golf R produces 300 hp; the GTI Mk6 uses a lower-output variant at 210 hp. The Audi TT 8N predates the EA888 using the earlier 1.8T 20V, but the EA888 was a direct evolution of the same inline-4 family. The same block, head bolt pattern, and engine management hardware allows parts interchange across the entire VW/Audi range.
