Mazda RX-7 SA22C
The original first-generation RX-7 used a 1.1-litre twin-rotor 12A Wankel engine to produce 100 hp in a car weighing barely 1,000 kg. Its perfect 50/50 front-rear weight distribution, communicative steering, and near-flat cornering characteristics made it one of the best-handling sports cars of its era at any price.
