Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S
The world's first twin-rotor Wankel-engined production car. Mazda's Cosmo Sport 110S spent years in development to tame the rotor-tip seal problem and when it launched, its 110-hp twin-rotor engine weighed just 100 kg and spun to 7,000 rpm with a mechanical smoothness no piston engine could match.
