Fiat Uno Turbo
The Uno Turbo applied a turbocharged 1.3-litre engine to the Uno's ultra-light (840 kg) body to produce a 105-hp hot hatch that could reach 100 km/h faster than much of the competition. Its IHI turbocharger, hydraulic power steering, and five-speed gearbox were extraordinary for a 1.3-litre car of 1983.
