BMW M5 (E28)
The original M5 was the world's fastest production sedan when launched. BMW's Motorsport division hand-built the M88/3 inline-six engine from the M1 supercar, transplanted into a standard 5 Series body with only subtle badging to identify it. 286 hp and near-invisible disguise made it the definitive "sleeper" performance sedan.
