BMW Motorrad K100
The K100 was BMW's radical technological departure — a water-cooled inline-four laid on its side to lower the centre of gravity, with shaft drive and ABS as an option (one of the first motorcycles offered with anti-lock brakes). Nicknamed "the flying brick," it proved equally adept at touring and fast road riding.
