Brembo 4-Piston OEM Caliper (JDM Performance)

Brembo's 4-piston fixed aluminium caliper served as OEM equipment on the pinnacle Japanese performance cars of the 1990s. Nissan specified it on the Skyline GT-R R32 to cope with the R32's high-speed braking demands from its 280-hp all-wheel-drive drivetrain. Mitsubishi fitted Brembo to the Lancer Evo VI as the high-performance brake option. Honda S2000 (2000+) also uses Brembo-supplied 4-piston front calipers. The shared physical specification of these calipers (same piston diameter, same seal kit, same bleed nipple thread) was deliberate — Brembo designed a common JDM performance caliper that Japanese manufacturers could adopt without bespoke tooling.
