⛽ Lucas / SU HS6 Carburettor
The SU (Skinners Union) carburettor is the quintessential British fuel delivery device, used on Jaguar, Aston Martin, Austin-Healey, MG, and Triumph through four decades. Triple-SU HS6 carburettors on the Jaguar XK engine were the OEM specification for the XK120, E-Type, and Mk2 3.8. The HS6 carburettor on the Aston Martin DB5 is also triple-mounted on the 4.0L straight-six. Because SU supplied the entire British sports car industry, the same carburettor floats, needles, and damper assemblies were shared across multiple brands.
