Toyota Trucks Hilux (N30)
The third-generation Hilux introduced the model internationally with a reputation for absolute indestructibility — its 1.6-litre twin-cam engine, leaf-spring rear suspension, and simple ladder frame could survive treatment that destroyed every competitor. BBC's Top Gear famously tried to kill one with fire, flood, and demolition — it survived everything.
