Kawasaki Z1 900
The Kawasaki Z1 was the response to Honda's CB750 — and it out-performed it comprehensively. With a 903 cc DOHC four-cylinder producing 82 hp, the Z1 was the fastest production motorcycle in the world in 1973. Its twin-cam engine architecture influenced virtually every Japanese inline-four motorcycle design that followed.
