Porsche 928 GTS
The 928 GTS was the final and finest iteration of Porsche's front-engine V8 grand tourer — a 350-hp 5.4-litre that Ferry Porsche intended to replace the 911. Ferry's son died believing it was the right car but the 911's immortality prevented the plan. The GTS was a magnificent but commercially failed masterpiece.
