LOOK's PP321 was an early carbon-fibre racing frame using a monocoque construction process that predated most competitors. Its KG (Kevlar/Graphite) construction used aramid and carbon fibres in a resin matrix, producing a frame lighter and more compliant than aluminium while being easier to manufacture than handlaid tubes.
