🔧 Ford Coyote 5.0 V8
Ford's Coyote 5.0-litre V8 replaced the Three-Valve Modular V8 in 2011, debuting in the Mustang GT and F-150. Its DOHC architecture, twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), and flat-plane crank option in the GT350 variant made it the most technically advanced Ford V8 since the GT40 era. The 2024 Dark Horse produces 500 hp from the naturally aspirated 5.0 without a supercharger, and the same block powers the F-150 pickup.
